Apakah perkara kegemaran anda tentang Malaysia? Adakah anda mengenali seorang wira lokal? Atau individu yang cuba membuat perubahan di negara ini? Mungkin anda tahu tempat makan yang lazat tapi masih belum dikenali orang ramai. Jangan segan - kongsikan dengan kami!

Syarat Kempen

  • Kandungan boleh dihantar dalam format artikel atau video, dan mesti bertemakan penghargaan anda terhadap Malaysia.

  • Anda boleh mencipta kandungan sama ada dalam Bahasa Inggeris, Bahasa Melayu atau Mandarin.

  • Kandungan anda mesti memasukkan hashtag #MalaysiaKita dalam tajuknya.

  • Kandungan tanpa hashtag tidak akan dikira.

  • Artikel mestilah sekurang-kurangnya 300 patah perkataan dan mengandungi sekurang-kurangnya 1 imej atau 1 video.

  • Tempoh video mestilah sekurang-kurangnya 60 saat dengan penerangan (kapsyen) sekurang-kurangnya 20 perkataan.

  • Setiap peserta hanya dibenarkan menghantar maksimum 10 kandungan setiap minggu, tanpa mengira bahasa dan format (artikel/video). Sebarang penyerahan tambahan akan dibatalkan secara automatik.

  • Kandungan mestilah unik dan tidak diplagiat. Kandungan yang dihantar adalah eksklusif untuk Newswav dan tidak boleh diterbitkan dengan media/penerbit lain.

  • Peserta mestilah berkongsi kandungan yang diterbitkan dalam bentuk pautan Newswav (contoh: newswav.com/xxx) pada platform media sosial anda dalam tempoh kempen.

HADIAH UTAMA x3

Satu (1) kandungan Bahasa Inggeris, Satu (1) kandungan Bahasa Melayu, dan Satu (1) kandungan Mandarin dengan jumlah bacaan/tontonan tertinggi dalam tempoh kempen akan menerima penginapan 4D3N di Royale Chulan Cherating Chalet.

Terms & Conditions

CONTEST PERIOD

  1. The #MalaysiaKita Campaign (the “Contest”) is organised by Newswav Sdn. Bhd (“the Organiser”).

  2. The Contest will commence from August 8 - September 16, 2022 (both dates inclusive) (the “Contest Period”).


 

CONTEST ELIGIBILITY

  1. The Contest is open to all Malaysians (the “Participants") that fall under the following category:
    i) Newswav users
    ii) Aged 18 and above residing in Malaysia


 

CONTENT SUBMISSION & REQUIREMENTS

  1. Content submitted can be in article or video format (the “Contest Content”), and must revolve around your love & appreciation towards Malaysia (e.g. stories of different races coming together to achieve something, a Malaysian hero, local food & eateries that you enjoy etc).

  2. The Organiser reserves the right to reject any submissions that are non-relevant or forcefully related to the theme.

  3. Content submitted can either be in English, Malay or Mandarin.

  4. Your content submission must include the #MalaysiaKita hashtag in the title. Submissions without the hashtag will not be counted as an entry for this campaign.

  5. Article submission must be at least 300 words and contain at least 1 image or 1 video. 

  6. Video submission must be at least 60 seconds in duration with a minimum of 20 words description.

  7. Each participant is only allowed to submit a maximum of 10 content per week, regardless of language and format (article/video). Any additional submissions will be disqualified automatically.

  8. Content must be unique and not plagiarised. Content submitted is to be exclusive to the Organiser and not shared with other media outlets/publishers.

  9. Participants must share the published content in the form of Newswav link (e.g. newswav.com/xxx) on their social media platform(s) during the campaign period.


 

WINNER SELECTION

  1. GRAND PRIZE x3: One (1) English content, One (1) Bahasa Melayu content, and One (1) Mandarin content with the highest number of views by the end of the campaign period will receive a 4D3N stay at Royale Chulan Cherating Chalet each.

    • ​Includes breakfast, in-room mini bar, and baby turtle release/firefly watching activity - subject to changes from Royale Chulan Cherating.

    • Newswav reserves the right to remove any duplicated or malicious view counts.

  2. SPECIAL PRIZE x3: One (1) English content, One (1) Bahasa Melayu content, and One (1) Mandarin content with the highest number of genuine comments by the end of the campaign period will receive DE.WAN 1958 By Chef Wan’s gift card worth RM800 each.

    • ​Newswav reserves the right to remove any duplicated, non-genuine, malicious or spam comments.

  3. NEWSWAV TOP PICKS x8: Eight (8) best-quality content will be selected by Newswav at the end of the campaign period, where winners will receive RM150 each.

  4. Each participant could win more than One (1) prize (e.g. Individual A could win the Grand Prize, Special Prize, and Top Picks). However, each participant could only win One (1) prize from each prize category (e.g. Individual A could win only ONE Grand Prize, ONE Special Prize, and ONE Top Pick).

  5. Winners shall be solely determined by the Organiser, whose decision shall be deemed final. No correspondence or appeal(s) will be entertained.


 

WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT & PRIZES REDEMPTION

  1. Winner announcements will be made on September 30, 2022 (Friday) via email to all participants.

  2. Participants who fail to reply to the email within seven (7) days will have their prize forfeited.

  3. Winners must provide a copy of their NRIC for verification purposes. Failure to do so may result in their prizes being revoked.

  4. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or refundable in any way.


 

GENERAL

  1. All costs and expenses in connection with the production of the Contest Content and the participation of this Contest shall be fully borne by the Participants.

  2. Contest Content must not be vague, illegal, or unlawful, lewd, obscene, sexually explicit, pornographic, disparaging, defamatory, libelous, offensive, must not infringe any third party’s legal rights, and must not be capable of giving rise to legal action whether against you or the Organiser or a third party (in each case under any applicable law). User Content must be researched beforehand and to be of truth.

  3. The Organiser reserves the right to reject, edit or remove any of the Participants’ content at the discretion of the Organiser, at any time.

  4. By submitting the Contest Content, The Organiser has the rights to use the entries or material submitted for library, promotional, or commercial use globally.

 

DECLARATION & AUTHORISATION

  1. The Organiser reserves the right at its absolute discretion to postpone, reschedule and/or extend the Campaign Period and/or terminate the Contest at any given time without prior notice.

  2. The Organiser reserves the right to amend the mechanics, prizes, and terms & conditions of the Contest, as well as other aspects of the Contest at its absolute discretion without prior notice.

  3. By participating in this Contest, the Participants are deemed to have read and understood and have agreed to comply with all terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) set forth in this section (as varied or changed).
